I am the executive producer of Grady Nightshift, an entertainment news show run by student volunteers. I helped start the show in Spring 26 as a reporter and worked my way up to being a producer. I write anchor scripts, review reporter scripts, stack the show, time the show, and write teases. I also help oversee the Musical Guest and What’s The Move segments for Grady Nightshift. For my senior capstone, Grady Newsource, we have a newscast every week and rotate between roles. I have been an assignment editor and producer. I led the airing of a new segment called Local Lens, where we bring other reporters in the journalism school to showcase their story. The show I produced had nation and state news stories involving the Colin Gray trial, NIL deals, and data centers.

Grady Nightshift Producer Reel

Grady Nightshift is an arts and culture show that a group of students and I co-founded in spring 2025. I was the executive producer for the 2025-2026 school year. We cover arts and culture news around Athens, GA like art exhibits, Athens businesses music shows, festivals, trends, and much more. We have three segments: a skit, a musical guest performance and interview, and What’s the Move (events happening the upcoming weekend). As executive producer, I made the show more conversational, added props, cemented our signature segments, and produced our most viewed show. The reel shows some clips of some of the teases, intros, outros, and segments I produced.
